Question:
I wonder what's happened to my left hand! It feels numb but?
I can still move it. It is still warm but it feels just as if it is 'defrosting' from the winter cold weather. I haven't knowingly injured it. Can anyone help please?
Answers:
Does this happen often? Did you fall asleep on it, or fall asleep in a funny position? It could be a pinched nerve from your neck, or even a somewhere down the length of your arm. Is it your whole hand? If not, if it is the outside and ring finger and pinky that would be an ulnar nerve irritation. If it is more thumb and index finger then it could be a carpal tunnel problem. If it persists I would get that checked out because it could be something serious.
Good luck to you
