What should I take to help sleep?!
Question: What should I take to help sleep?
Answers:
You need to try to start an 8 hour sleep cycle pattern in combination with the herbal supplement Melatonin. If this continues or gets worse, see a physician about your problem. Most will guide you in the right direction.
**DO NOT start taking sleeping pills such as Tylenol PM or Sleep Aid. These WILL become habit forming.**
Other ways include:
- Don't exercise within 2-3 hours before sleep
- Don't eat a large meal within 2-3 hours of sleep
- Avoid all caffeine and anything with excess sugar 4 hours prior to sleep.
- Do not use your bed for anything other than sleeping.
- Make up your bed in the morning so it will be more attractive at night.
- Turn your A/C up or heat down an hour before bed. Colder climates gives your body the signal to release melatonin.
Google and read material
Use a nicewarm cup of chamomile or catnip tea to wash down a melatonin tab. the tea relaxes you & the melatonin helps you wake easier all naturally. some long term reading material like shakespeare or the bible in bed helps too. no comics or stories interesting & short enuff 2 tempt u 2 finish it. sweet dreams!
