If I staple my finger do I have to get a tetanus shot?!
Question:
If I staple my finger do I have to get a tetanus shot?
I just stapled my finger but I didnt actually "staple"it if you know what I mean... the staple just poked it and went into my skin then it started bleeding.
Answers:
The microorganisms that cause tetanus are anaerobic, which means they can only grow and thrive in the absence of oxygen. A stapler is exposed to a lot of oxygen, therefore, you probably don't need a tetanus shot. However, you should get updates on the shot every 10 years or so.
