Could you? Sure, especially with an airbag in addition to the seat belt. It's also very possible that you would be bruised by the seat belt, have neck pain, possibly a closed head injury, get cut or bruised by flying glass and other objects, or be hurt otherwise.
A few years ago I was driving on a highway going 65 mph or so and a deer ran out in front of my SUV. I braked hard and the person in the SUV behind me failed to see the deer, or that I was nearly stopped, or anything, and hit me without even touching the brakes! I was pretty sore the next day, but basically OK and the other driver who rear-ended me just got a bloody nose and very minor facial scratches when they hit the airbag. Airbags combined with seat belts save a lot of lives and prevent a lot of serious injuries.
I was in a car accident ( I was rear ended) on a highway at 60mph, and the truck that hit us and us were ok, but we were slowed down before it happened i think. So not sure..
Don't go try rear ending anyone!
