Question: I have chronic knee pain and no one can find out why had it almost a year any ideas?

ive had key hole surgery and they said it was cartilage damage and would heel with in 6months but it hasn't its just been getting worse and i wasn't to do too much physical activity! then i saw a different doctor that's said there could be something more as my pains on the opposite side. My knee is always swollen and sometimes my hole leg and foot its very painful and i cant straighten it.
