I get a little help from a decaf tea. Very soothing and relaxing. There are some natural herbs you can get from the Health Food Store also. If there is too much noise around you when you are trying to sleep, you may consider getting a sound machine. I got mine at Target. It has several different sounds that will block out all the external noises. Good sleeping.
Before you go to bed, take a nice warm shower. This will help your body relax.
And If possible, sleep naked(or just underpants). (I know it sounds weird but wearing less clothing helps relax the body even more.)
Turn on some background noise. (not tv, music that has singing, etc, as these will keep you more alert) something little like a sound of a fan, calming music, etc. Or try reading a book. that might knock you out fast ;D
hide ur laptop put it away. lay down and think just daydream about life etc. u do need sleep. majority of ppl have problems sleeping cus of electronics. u have to disclipline urself but its worth it cus sleep is everything. set a bedtime for everynight nd ull get used to it after a week. noise use earplugs they work light use an eye sleepwear. just talk to jesus some nd ask him to help u. if nothing else works well just take lots of niquil it helps me lol or look at ceiling raise ur arm up nd point nd move it itll get u in a daze. goodluck and try to get some sleep!!!

Read something, like a book, drink warm milk, get up and walk around a little, or turn down the temperature in the room- a cool temp helps a person fall asleep.
Try taking a benedryl an hour before you want to go to bed. Also, melatonin works as well, you can buy pills or tea form at any drug store.
