I get a little help from a decaf tea. Very soothing and relaxing. There are some natural herbs you can get from the Health Food Store also. If there is too much noise around you when you are trying to sleep, you may consider getting a sound machine. I got mine at Target. It has several different sounds that will block out all the external noises. Good sleeping.

you have to occupy the mind during the day so that at bedtime you have sono.Yoga is excellent, meditation, do some exercises before bed, take a relaxing tea, a warm bath.

What is your caffeine intake like? Coffee? Latte? If you are taking in caffeine, stop at early afternoon so you can sleep at night.
