i'm trying to pierce my septum (i don't care if u say it's a bad idea...i've done this before) and it is really hard to get the needle to go through....i'm doing it on that soft skin below the hard cartledge but it's not working..

I'm assuming you mean your nasal septum? Here's what I'd do - you need to numb the area first. Ice it, use a topical lidocaine if you can find it. When it is numb, use a very sharp pointed needle that is as thick as or thicker than the post or whatever, you are going to be putting into the hole. Good luck.
