Sharp pain on the top front of the head?!
Question: Sharp pain on the top front of the head?
Answers:
Just go see a Dr. A neurologist would be great for neck pain and headaches. His worries could contribute but it sounds like more to me. Pain in the head can be alot of different things other than a tumor. He could be developing migraines, high blood pressure, sinus problems/allergies. SO many things it is hard to say with the symptoms you have provided.
Worried? see your doctor.
He has tight neck muscles giving him these problems. The neck muscles go to the top of the head where they connect to muscles going around the head. When the neck muscles get tight they pull on the head muscles and when they go into pain you have the headache. The sharp pain is caused by a tight muscle on one side of the neck that is pulling on a muscle going around the head for when a head muscle runs out of give it ends up in pain where it's attached to the head. To get rid of both problems he has to free up his neck muscles and here's how to do that:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about one minute, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds. This may have to be repeated a few times to get rid of all the pain.
For best results relax the body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
