What do I have? Bone dislocation, fracture or am I just complaining for nothing?!
Question:
What do I have? Bone dislocation, fracture or am I just complaining for nothing?
Last year I fell in our house due to wet floor. I fell with an out stretch hand (L). Since then whenever its cold or I use my hand often, I'm left handed, I feel pain on my L wrist, specifically on my L ulnar styloid. Normally there should be slight protrusion of the ulnar styloid but since the accident I lose it. I already had an X-ray, but they say that everything is normal. I also feel tingling sensation sometimes. What could this be?
Answers:
You may have damaged or pinched the ulnar nerve. Symptoms would include tingling, numbness and pain. I would see an orthopedic doctor for a diagnosis. There are treatments ranging from splinting to physical therapy to cortisone injections to surgery.
