My mom has the same condition. We just sit still in the car, n move slightly an inch.

Answers:

Use Meclizine. It is an anti-motion sickness drug. It is by prescription only but is made for motion sickness. Motion sickness is caused by an imbalance of the fluid in your inner ear that interacts with small hair follicles to keep you balanced. Meclizine is made to counteract the effect caused by motion when you feel like you are not moving.

Your brain thinks you are stationary because you are just sitting in a car but you are actually moving. This causes the fluid in your ears that keep you balanced to become confused.

There are OTC meds like Dramamine and such but they are just diphenhydramine or dimenhydrinate which are both really anti-histamines or used for sleep disorders. They are not very effective for motion sickness and make you sleepy.
