Answers:
Carotid artery.
Stabbing in the lung is not always fatal. Depends on the depth and the size of the knife. Only if the knife penetrates the pleura sac (lining) of the lung will the lung collapse.

Carotid Artery, you will bleed out while a stab to the lung can be treated with first aid.
