not very long if a persons sodium levles are low the organs that are reciving the sodium will eventualy shut down and its just a chain reaction from there and too much salt can over work "the system" and blood platlets can block the aorta
A normal life span most likely. Although iodine is a necessary nutrient, the body can survive without it. Although iodine inadequacy can cause a decrease in metabolism speed and a disease called simple goiter which causes a painless enlargement of the thyroid gland.
