Strange Bowel Movement?!
Question: Strange Bowel Movement?
Things seem to have been going pretty great because the loads are smaller balls and I don't feel any discomfort during the day. My diet is pretty simply, for lunch I always have a couple cookies, a handful of carrots and dips, a small bowl of whole grain tortilla chips, a granola bar and a glass of milk and for lunch I have anything from pizza to pasta. I try to eat healthy when I can but I am a sucker for getting a cookie over an apple some days.
Well throughout the weeks I am getting these pleasant bowel movements but something seems to happen towards the end of the week that completely throws me off. Well for example, today (SAT) I had woken up with an empty bowel, I ate a bowl of pasta with tomato sauce and took off for work where I had a salad and a bowl of potato wedges for supper. While I was at work I felt the feeling like, "Oh, I'm going to need to take a poop later" like I do most of the time when I can feel my rectum filling. So I got home and just relaxed a while and thought I'd just go before I went to bed. But when my mom was in the shower I got this insane urge to go, my bowels felt like i hadn't gone in days. I went to the bathroom and was in there for a while, the stool was large, smelly, and looked creamy.
I cannot figure out why this is happening. I get so insecure when I go over to my boyfriends house that it'll be the one day where my bowels decide to get weird and kill the romance. I've tried to think of any changes in my diet throughout the week and I wonder if granola bars could be the culprit.
I eat one granola bar every day during lunch (not the healthiest one but it is one none the less) but I don't eat them on the weekends. Do you think that these granola bars are what is regulating my stools?
Answers:
It sounds like you could be eating differently on the weekends compared to the rest of the week, are you eating more greasy foods on the weekend, or consuming alcohol?
And the granola bars would definitely be helping to regulate you, due to the increase in fibre, which is great as fibre helps to basically clean out any left overs in your bowels. Fibre helps to make your stools the proper consistency as well, if they are too loose it firms them up, and if they are too firm it makes them soft.
Perhaps it could be IBS (irratable bowel syndrome). Your best bet is to go see your family Doctor. Increasing your fiber intake at this time may increase your bowel movements. Go and get it checked out.
yes it might be the granola bars that regulate the stool because it has fiber also try eating fruits like grapes anything with antioxidants to help clean ur stomach that might work too
