i have a really bad tooth ache and nothing will stop the pain but water is there!

Sounds like an abscess. You will need to go on antibiotics and get a root canal most likely. When the tooth abscesses the nerve is dying or dead.

I've had an abcessed tooth before.

For temporary help to nix your pain I suggest Oragel (or other numbing medicine)
Oragel is a liquidy gel-like medication that you brush onto the pained area. You let it sit for about 10 seconds and then it will numb the area in which you brushed it on. Be careful not to swallow it or let your tongue near the Oragel while it dries or else your tongue will get numb too XD

( I suggest brushing onto the gums)

Ive used Oragel before and had a tooth ache!

try using some pain killers ( like tylenol Or someother thing)
it worked when i had my teeth knocked out
