Question: Does this sound like a spider bite? not for the weakly stomached!?
My husband woke up 2 days ago with a small bump on his face complaining that it itched. I didn't think a lot of it because it didn't look that bad. A day later he was complaining that his entire jaw hurt and when I looked it was very swollen. It finally got so bad he started squeezing it and a massive amount of sticky puss came pouring out of it, after squeezing for almost an hour he says it still feels like more is in it but couldn't stand the pain anymore. When I looked at it after all this it looks like a small whole on his face with something black inside.

Doesn't soind like a spider bite to me.It sounds like this is a type of cyst. and not the zit kind. I've gotten them on my feet before. Usually, they go away after a while. sometimes, It helped to pull the black thing out. but this can prove to be very painful. Also, due to the fact that this is on his face where the skin is thinner than the skin on the foot, I would suggest going to a dermatologist. And if your insurance doesn't cover that, get a referral from a doctor or NP.If none of these is the mode of operation you would like to take, clean it with hydrogen peroxide and cover it with neosporin and a band aid.

You should have a doctor look at it if you are really concerned about it. It does not sound like any kind of regular pimple or anything so if it were me i would go have it checked out soon.
