I have a prescription for hydroco/apap 5-500 and it says its viccodin and acetaminophen!. Do all vicodins have asprin in it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

As far as I know hydrocodone always comes in a form of a compound usually with acetaminophen and sometimes ibuprofen (vicoprofen), different compounds are available with different milligrams of each component!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
In the U!.S!., pure hydrocodone and forms containing more than 15 mg per dosage unit are considered Schedule II drugs!. Those containing less than or equal to 15 mg per dosage unit in combination with acetaminophen or another non-controlled drug are called hydrocodone compounds and are considered Schedule III drugs!. Hydrocodone is typically found in combination with other drugs such as acetaminophen, aspirin, ibuprofen and homatropine methylbromide!.
In my opinion a 5-500 vicodin is not considered a 'strong' dose!. But that's really based on the individuals tolerance levels!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
