Has Anyone suffered from Plantar Fascitis?!

Question: Has Anyone suffered from Plantar Fascitis!?
Has anyone had this very painful foot complaint!? if so what did you do to ease the pain!? I have had this for about 7 weeks now, doc says to rest it as much as poss, but I have to work and am on my feet for about 3-4 hours at a time and the pain is excruciating, I am taking pain killers they work for a while and I have tried ice packs, sometimes I can walk relatively pain free other times I have to use crutches it is so bad!. I wondered if anyone who has had this knows of anything else I could be doing to help!.
Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i was refered to a physio because of this horrible foot condition by my dr!. here are the exercises i have to do!. they really help!.
1!. stand straight holding on to kitchen surfaces!. bring your leg backwards keeping your knee straight!. don't lean forwards!. repeat 10 times!.
2!.stand or sit with your foot on a towel!. curl your toes and crumple up the towel!. repeat as often as you can!.
3!. stand more on lateral border of foot and push metatarsal bone into floor to strengthen arch!. hold 10-15 secs!. i find this one the best one to ease the pain!.
i also had a steriod injection which helped a little!. my foot is a little better!. it reminds me if i dont keep up the exercises!. good luck also i had a soft raised insole for my shoes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should visit a podiatrist!. A podiatrist can tape your foot so you have more support!. Also, always wear supportive shoes with a thick rubber sole!. No barefoot, even at home!. If it is bad enough a podiatrist can give you a cortisone injection and make shoe inserts for you to wear in your shoes that can correct whatever structural imbalance is causing your plantar fascia to become inflamed!. I don't know what kind of pain pills you are taking but the best thing would be to take anti-inflammatories at regular intervals, not just a pain pill when the pain gets so bad you can stand it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I first had Plantar Fasciitis about 3 years ago, and tried all the exercises, painkillers, wearing trainers, special insoles, etc!. In the end, I had a steroid injection in the heel!. The injection really hurt, and my foot was much worse for a couple of days after, but then got better!. I went back to work after being off sick for 10 weeks, and it seemed fine!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.but came back about a year later, and I had the injection again!. I changed job because it seemed that all the driving I used to do (about 200 miles each week) made the foot worse!. It's fine now, and has been so for about a year!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I had this, my doctor taped an arch support right onto my foot and I wore it 24/7 for a few weeks!. That took care of it!. You might ask if it's an option for you!. Just make sure you let the doctor do it so it will be in the right spot!.

I have that and being a dancer I HAD to get rid of it so I go every couple months and get cortisone shots which is a steroid that help the pain!. and I'm doing pretty goodWww@Answer-Health@Com
