Question: If You Have Your Appendix Taken Out, Can You Keep It!?

I was just wondering!.!.!. i have to go to surgery in about 2 weeks to get it removed and I was wondering if the hospital will allow you to keep it if you ask for it!?

Some might!. When I had my uterus removed I asked them to save it for me!. They thought I was really weird at first, but once I explained I'm a medical student and would really enjoy having something like that they did it for me!. After I was discharged my surgeon came out and it was in a jar with formaldehyde and there was a humourous note on it signed by the staff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
