Question: Help!! my pierced ear has gone all swollen! !?
I got my ears pierced personally 4 weeks ago and have been cleaning it with some solution twice a day!.4 days ago it got red, tender and swollen!. this morning, when i woke up the front part of the earring was inside my ear!. I managed to push it back through!. I went to the chemist and they recommended surgical spirit!. when i got home i tried to just take just the back off and clean it but by an accident i took the whole earring out i quickly soaked the earring in the surgical spirit and put the earring back in, but didn't put the back, back on because it wouldn't fit!.
the ear seems to be staying the same size and it hasn't got a back on it will it heal over, what should i do!? should i just take it out!? please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds pretty normal to me!. You have to bare in mind that the larger you go the slower it will heal and the more tender it will be!.
You're talking about less than 24 hours since you had it done so don't expect to be fine!.
Also know that every time you get a piercing or stretch you will have a different healing experience!.
Give it a week and if it hasn't settled at least a bit go back to your piercer to give it a check up!.
I wouldn't stress about it though!.
Notes:
Don't take it out until it's healed!. You'll be sorry!.
Don't downsize because the tissue will retract to that size and you'll have to stretch back up to 8!.
Just clean it once a day with anti-bacterial soap and try not to move the jewellery!. Just dry it properly afterwards!.

what kind of earing is it!? if it is gold, keep it in unless the swelling still continues then take it out!. you should probably take it out though and soak it in rubbing alchohol for at least a week!. the hole wont close up, believe me, i have gone without an earring for months before!. one time, the back of my earring had grown into my ear, and i had it in to much!. so just wear it loose for a while!. thats what i would reccomend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Take the earring out and put some rubbin alchohol on ur ear!. i know it hurts but that means its kilin the infection!. take some tylenol or advil for the pain!. let the ear heal and then go to claire's and get it re-pierced in 2-4 weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
your ear is infected keep cleaning it, you could use an antibiotic ointment as well!. if you don't put a back on the earring it could fall out during the night!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
