What is good for low back pain?!


Question: What is good for low back pain!?
i get low back pain once in a while!. i first got it from standing up for 4 hours at a concer!. i also get it from sitting to long like when im driving!. when i get it, its hard for me to stand straight and it causes my posture to slant forward!. what is a good way of relieving the pain!? what is a good way to strengthen the muscles there so i can avoid this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stretching helps relieve the pain!. You also need to focus on strengthening your core muscles (stomach) as these are strong support for your lower back!. You need to alternate ice and heat!. If it continues or gets worse see a doctor - sounds like a disc in your lower back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It might be good to find out what is causing your low back pain!. If it is from muscle strain, I have found valerian root to be very helpful! You can buy it in the vitamin section at Walmart, Kmart, Target, etc!. and get about 100 capsules for around $5!.00!. Just take one capsule every 4 hours as needed!. If it's bedtime, you could take 2 or 3, since they are a natural muscle relaxant!. If you have a medical condition like fibromyalgia, then wearing pants or shorts with even a slightly snug waistband can compress the spine just enough to cause low back pain!. In that case, switch to a looser pair of pants or shorts, and that should relieve the pain!. If your pain persists, it wouldn't hurt to get an evaluation (some chiropractors will provide one for free) just to see if there is a problem that needs professional attention!. You may have pinched your sciatic nerve!.

Lay down on your back!. Pull your right leg up so that the knee is at 90 degrees and the thigh is 90 degrees to the hip!. This looks like and "h" sideways!. Keep your right shoulder on the floor and put your left hand on your right knee!. Now slowly pull your right knee across and over your left leg, towards the floor!. Only go down as far as you can with out it pulling or hurting!. Now take 5 slow breaths, trying to relax your hips as you breathe in and out!. Now put down your right leg and repeat with your left leg!. This will stretch your sciatic muscle and some of the other muscles in your back!. This should help relieve the pain!. It may take several days and you may have to do this at least once per week on a regular basis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get good stomach muscles, when you think of it hold you stomach in and hold for a few seconds!. While having back pain, a good hands on chiropractor would be good and also, some get relief with ice and some with heat!. I get relief with ice, the warmth seems to make me worse!. An exercise like laying on your back and grasping your knee with both hands and gently rocking then do the same with the other knee, might help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have cronic lower back pain and nothing takes the pain away but your not as far gone as i am so i would suggust trying some pain patches that you can buy over the counterWww@Answer-Health@Com
