~ hi ~! As long as you didn't actually injure yourself in any way you should be able to work out fine!. By experience though really make sure you stretch out first!.
My daughter is a runner (track) and her coach says the one error younger people make (because they have so much energy) is they want to rush into their work out!. So, I would look up good stretching exercises for the area you're working out and be sure to stretch before your work-out - this will help significantly with soreness!.
Also, at later at home you can try a hot water bottle if your still experiencing some soreness - but with good stretches you shouldn't!.

What are you sore from!? If you are sore from working out, then take some ibuprofen, take a nice hot bath, rest for a day, then go back to working out starting off by warming up gently and stretch out!. You can also take some ibuprofen before you work out next time and that will help decrease your soreness!. Make sure you drink a lot of water during and after your workout!. That also helps!. If you are sore from working out, then you will be fine!. The soreness will go away once you get used to it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
