Right Arm Still Wont Straighten After Cast Came Off...?!

Question: Right Arm Still Wont Straighten After Cast Came Off!.!.!.!?
Hi there, i cracked the top of my radius skateboarding about 2 and a half months ago!. I had the cast removed after 4 weeks and was left with a sling and instructions to stretch/try and straighten as much as i wanted!.

Well, its been 2!.5 months and i still cant fully straighten my arm, 2 weeks ago i went too see my doctor and he told me this was all normal!.
Im worried that it still isnt completely healed and that i'll have to live with this 95% straight arm for the rest of my life!.

i try not to use it too much in my daily life, but i have noticed i use it to put on my seatbelt, put my transmission in gear, etc!.

I was just wondering if this in fact was normal, or if i should go back to my doctor again (i dont wanna seem like a wild hypochondriac or anything)

also, if you need more information from me, id be happy to give it!.

thanks for your inputWww@Answer-Health@Com

Right now you are probably being a little over cautious which is understandable!. The bone is healed and now you have to work on stretching those muscles and ligaments that were dormant for four weeks!. You need to use that arm in the same way you used it before the break!. It is normal and you're not using it to it's fullest, makes the straightening process a little longer!. Why don't you get yourself about a five pound weight, and start using it!. Just hold it in your hand and lift it toward your shoulder and back down several times!. In a couple of days, increase that weight to ten pounds!. Get yourself and hand held squeeze grips and do that about 25 to 30 times!. Increase the amount in a couple days to 40 or 50 squeezes!. If there is an indoor swimming pool that is heated, do some swimming!. Only other thing I could suggest is having the Doctor put you in some physical therapy for a week or ten days!. Good luck to you sir, hope soon you can straighten the arm all the way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you haven't been to physiotherapy yet, go!. They can give you lots of exercises to help you straighten your arm and strenghten it!.
You should try to use your arm as normally as possible, at the moment you are protecting it, which is a natural thing to do, but trying to do day to day things with it will help!.
