Answers:
You probably should ask the doc about why your 4 yr old hasn't had ear tubes put in to prevent recurring ruptures!. If she gets tubes, then while she is there she can also have a tonsillectomy if she keeps getting tonsillitis or has issues breathing properly!. Does she snore at night!? That's an issue with enlarged tonsils in small children!.
Please remember that you have the right to question the docs, and if you don't like how they practice medicine, take your money and go see someone else, who does take your concerns into account!. You are not just a patient, but a consumer of medical service!. Bad service, take you money and go elsewhere!. As your children's advocates, be pro-active and take your business elsewhere!.
Good luck with getting tubes and tonsils taken care ofWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think I would be concerned about this!. I had a ruptured ear drum when I was a Kid and I remember that it HURTS!!!!!!!. Hearing loss would also be a worry!.
I had my tonsils taken out 45 years ago but I don't think they do that anymore!.
I am NOT a Doctor so I really can't advise you, but I WOULD be concerned!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
