Question: I Had Surgery A Week Ago!.!.!.Post OP!?
I am 19yrs old and had my tonsils out on a week ago!. i felt good the first few days then i thought i was going to die and now i it still hurts to swallow and i havent been able to eat a thing!. i lost 18 lbs in jus a week!. i was jus wondering if this is normal and how much longer its going to last!. Im starving and i am in so much pain that the pain meds arent helping!. thanks

You are probably very dehydrated!. If your urine is a very dark yellow, either force fluids or call your doc and ask if you need some IV replacement fluids!.

Ummm let me see!.!.!.!.!.call your doctor!. I am not sure that any pain unrelieved by theprescribedd medication would be "normal"!. You are not the first patient they have done the surgery on so I am sure they wouldn't give you medication that wouldn't help!. Call your dr!. that would be the sensible thing to do!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Losing 18 pounds in one week is serious!.!.!. as well if the pain medications aren't helping with the pain I would seriously consider seeing your doctor today!. If your doctor cannot see you today, go to an ER!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
