Question: Has anyone tried gabapentin [generic for neurotin] for migraines !?
apparently i have chronic migraines!. lol!. i have had one constantly for over a week!. my mom suggested neurotin!. she said her md gave it to her for headaches!. so i am going to try hers and then ask my md for it!.
i know i shouldn't take things not prescribed to me, but i am out of my current meds [fioricet] and i can't get in to see md til friday so i have to try something!.

PLEASE dont take your mom meds!. CALL your doctor and ask if he can write a script for a few day supply of the meds and have it called into your local pharmacy!. Call your local pharmacy and see if the pharmacist will give you some to last you over until friday(but they may not give if its a controled drug, it may not have the codiene in it so its hard to say if it is or not controled drug!.) Most pharmacys will give you it for no charge!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
