Question: How long would you be in the hospital if!.!.!.!? Pt!. 2!?
How long would you be in the hospital if: you got stabbed in the arm, and got about 3 broken rubs!. Here's a little about the situation:

- It was a man
- He is healthy, and fit
- The ribs were BROKEN and did not puncture anything
- The knife was clean (but not disinfected or anything)
- The knife didn't hit any major arteries, or anything
- He has PLENTY of money, and pretty good insurance
- He is an agent in a government agency
- The broken ribs were caused by being kicked

P!.S!. I need to know for a story I'm writing

Thanks in Advance!!! :PWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I'm a Nurse in the neuro ICU!.!.!.

As long as the knife did not cause any major infection I would estimate about 2 days!. He would probably get a couple days of IV antibiotics and get sent home with a prescription of antibiotics and a topical to put on the cut and wound care instructions!. Cant do much about broken ribs!. Follow up in 2 weeks :)

p!.s!. The amount of Money and type of insurace you have will not affect your hospital stay!. IN fact, it might make his stay longer! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
