I sprained my ankle (grade II or III) during basketball a year ago and as ignorant as I was back then, I began to play b-ball again only a week later!. I thought it would just heal up but as my consequence, it of course didn't!. Currently, I can't bend it, range of movement is minimal ect!.PLEASE TELL ME ANYTHING THAT WILL ALLOW ME TO BEND MY ANKLE AGAIN!. Especially since I can't jump on that ankle anymore considering that I'm extremely passionate about basketball!. Please, I am DESPERATE for a solution!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As the person before said, you probably have scar tissue and need to see a physical therapist to get it fixed (most people need a referral from their doctor first)!. In the meantime, here are a couple of excercises you can try (if they are too painful stop and wait till you see a doctor):
First, stand facing a wall (the wall is mainly for balance) with your feet flat!. Then slowly move to your tiptoes (or as far as you can go with little to moderate pain) with both feet!. Come back down slowly and repeat 10 times!. Do three sets of these!. Later you may be able to do it on one foot with the uninjured leg raised!. This should break up the scar tissue, add flexibility, and strengthen you calves to protect your ankles!.
A similar excercise is step ups!. Find a stair (or something similar) and stand next to it with your side facing it and step up with the leg closest to the step (try not to lean too much or move your knee past your toe) slowly!. Pause standing on the one leg and then slowly lower yourself!. Repeat 10-15 times for three sets on each leg!. Again, if this is too strenuous for you ankle stop!.
Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I f you sprained your ankle pretty bad you probably have some scar tissue from tearing capillaries apart and using the muscles and joint while it was trying to heal, and it is stiff and weak because by human nature when something is hurt we don't use it and it has become stiff because of that the best this to do if you are truly passionate about basketball is to go to the doctor who will set you up with a physical therapist and they will straighten it out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since it is an old injury it is going to be a major hassle to fix compared to a fresh one!. While the theory behind this link is simple applying it and obtaining results is not!. So let's see how determined you are!.
