Could anyone shed any light?!
Question: Could anyone shed any light!?
I have this weird feeling in the back of my throat like a blocking of some kind that causes my talking to sound nasally (empty sounding), it doesn't cause any pain or problems, I just don't like it!. Any thoughts on what it is and how to get rid of it!?

Pfff, it could be one of 4 trillion things!. The afforementioned sinus drainage thing could definetely help!. I don't know it you work alot with your voice, i!.e!. you're a teacher, or singer, or professional motivational speaker, because people who use their voice alot, tend to develop wee problems, for example, it could be a polyp, it could be a small inflamation of the vocal cords, it could be something called combia!.!.!. I'm not sure if either of the above conditions would have anything to do with the fact that you have a nasal tint to your voice!. It is most likely completely unrelated!. Unless of course you aquired a more nasal sound after you started feeling this 'thing' at the back of your throat!.
If you do sound nasal and you always have, try breathing only from your nose, open up your nostrils, and use your cheekbones to keep the area behind your eyes and nose opened up!.
That last instruction doesn't sound too professional, heh, but it has to do with widening and broadening your natural amp, which is your head!. If you open up and try to relax your tongue and the wee muscle right underneath your chin while you talk, you'll definetely sound less nasal!.
Wish you the best of the best of the best and please tell your left nostril I said 'hello'!.
