It depends on the doctor, and his practice!.
Some doctors go in at 6:00 am to begin their day, and dont finish until 9:00-10:00 at night!. Then they may be on call and be up all night!.
Some doctors take an afternoon off, others dont!.
The anesthesia group that I used to assist, their physicians got out early the day prior to taking call!. The next day they were there at 7:00 am and may be there until 7:00 the next morning!. Irregardless they still had the next day off!.
My psychiatrist works from 2:30-4:30 in the afternoons, except Friday and then he works in the morning and is off at 12:00

cram your waiting full of people five days a week in the morning hours by telling them that they all have a 9:00 appt!. then shoot through them as quick as you can (stacking your paper) ignoring their complaints about having to wait up to two hours to get in to see you(although they were told to come ten to fifteen min's earlier than their scheduled appointments) then take off early jump in your 2009 Porsche and head to the country club for a round of golf!.Then spend some time in the spa!. maybe a sauna or, a swedish massage and then go to the bar and have some drinks!.Then try to impress some chicks with your money (that could care less about you ) ot the point that your soon just flat out implying youd pay them for a little sex go to a motel w/her get used a little get your jollies if your lucky and go home and lie to the wife and go to sleep !.Then get up the next day and hope for a repeat performance w/more sex in itWww@Answer-Health@Com
It depends on the type of doctor you are!. General practitioners keep weekly hours similar to 8-6ish!. ER docs work anything from swing shifts, 12s and 24s!. Specialists and some GP keep office hrs and on-call hours exceeding their week day hrs and weekends!. Some doctors are literally on call 24/7!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
they only care about money instead of helping a poor stranger!. That's y there ain't a cure for aids yet, and that's y I'm still sick, and that is y my mom might have to live in a wheel chair for the rest of her life( they are to lazy to look for anything to help her from losing her legs, after she traveled 4hrs!. Depends on what kind of doctor you are!. Just like the person wrote!. Wow, can't believe how some people are rude about doctors!. Some are mean son-of-a-guns, but that's the right stereotype for everyone of them!. All the doctors that I have take their time looking over their patients!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
