they numb it!. the shot is the only thing you will feel!. then the stitches wont feel a thing!.and after even the cut stops hurting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've had small cuts that needed stitches (4 and 8), and I've had BIG cuts that needed a LOT of stitches, and I can tell you that getting the stitches never hurt as much as the accident causing the cut, and always promoted a quicker, surer healing if the wound was cleaned properly before the stitches were put in!. If you need stitches, go get them!. It's "all in your mind" about the fear of stitches, but not getting them will cause problems that will be anywhere BUT your mind, like in the wound and other parts of your body that may be effected by infections and improper healing!. Trust me!. Go get them!. God Bless you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had tons of stitches and they dont hurt that bad, now i would be very carefull with them, cause i have had some rip on me, and that hurts a bit more!. they are a bit uncomfy but after a while you forget they are there!. when they start to heal though dont scratch them cause they tend to itch a bit, it just makes it worse!. what i did when they started to heal was put neosporne around them, it helped stop the itch and helped keep my skin hydrated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's not bad at all!.!.!. the worst part (I thought) was not being able to get it wet after the fact!.

The doctors numb it all up before they do anything so the most you're gonna feel is the needle delivering the subcutaneous injection!.!.!. a little prick and that's all!. And then you can't feel anything, not even the needle and stitching!.

I watched the doctor put the stitches in when I got them!.!.!. I thought it was really cool!.!.!. and it didn't hurt at all!. It hurt a bit afterward because of the location (my side)!.!.!. but that was because I was being careful not to move around much and my back got stiff!.

Anyway, you'll be fine!. Nothing to worry about! I hope you heal quickly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It hurts for 5 seconds when they use the needle to put the painkillers (Nocacaine) in your skin around the wound, but after that, you can't feel anything! You might feel a little dizzy the rest of the day, so take it easy!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, it really doesn't hurt!. They will deaden it then stitch it right up!. And it will heal much faster!.
