I am a Canadian watching the documentary SICKO and I cannot belive that the US treats their people this way!. Am 18 month old baby in Michigan had a fever of 104 and the doctors refused to help her because her insurance company wouldn't cover it, she had a seizure and DIED! They siad on the movie that Americans think that Socialized healthcare a is bottom of the barrel form of healthcare!. Is this true!? Is there a good side to American healthcare and will it ever become socialized!? What are Obama/Mcaines views on socialized healthcare!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The wealthy citizens of the US will never allow socialized healthcare, because they fear they would be giving up preferential treatment by caregivers!.
Unfortunately, the people impacted by the sad state of affairs have little to no say in the matter!. The folks making all the decisions are all covered by Insurance, and have no idea how real this problem is!.

I have yet to see any of this crude behavior in any local hospitals!.!.!. and my family is all in the medical field!. Doctors care about their patients!. It's part of their job!. Socialized healthcare would definately cause problems as doctors aren't paid well which would lead to less people wanting to become medical professionals since malpractice insurance and what-not is EXTREMELY expensive!. There are many setbacks to socialized healthcare as there would be to any kind of healthcare plan!. But never rely on a politically based movie to make judgements as many of them are out there just to create controversy and stir people up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
