If you aren't overdosing, you can say nothing!. I don't know how they could find out unless you tell them!. I don't imagine that doctor's swap patients' names at parties or golf or meetings!.

It probably would have been better if you had made an appointment with the pain clinic and explained what happened!. The fact that you were applying for new credit cards, driver's licenses, etc!. might have been enough to convince them you weren't trying to double up on your medication!.

So keep your pill bottle home or in your purse when you go!. If you are asked directly, which would be odd, tell the truth!. Be honest with yourself and your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it's possible that the doctor at the Pain Clinic may find out!.

I don't know what all the contract says for your pain clinic but you need to report the theft of your purse and medication not only to the police but make sure you give a report to your Pain Management doctor!.

And then ask them what to do in emergency situations where you run out of medicine before the next visit!. If you have other questions for me please feel free to e-mail or IM me off site any time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The DEA monitors narcotic pain medications you fill at pharmacies, so it is possible, but probably unlikely!.

If I were you, I would have filed a police report and been honest with your doctor!. Had he said he couldn't help you, you still could've gone to another clinic, but at least you wouldn't be under the pressure and guilt of having withheld information!.!.!.and many doctors, particularly pain doctors, have narcotic contracts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

some pain clinics does drug testing so if its not the same drug they may find out!. but i would explain to them what happned and tell them that you went to the clinic!. theres no need to hide it !. why would you not want to tell them they should under stand!. maybe next time go back to teh pain clinic doc instead of a clinic that way it will be easier to keep track of what your takeing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
