Kitty wound, should i keep doing what i am doing?!

Question: Kitty wound, should i keep doing what i am doing!?
We found a little female kitten aprox 10 weeks old!. We didnt want a cat but the humane society said they have to many animals and it would be put down, so we thought to give her a chance!. She is sweet and healthy other than a wound on her leg!. It appears that the skin has somehow pelled off a 1 inch by 1/2 inch area on its front leg on the back near it's body, there is no skin flap to recover it with!.
Anyways, i have been cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and applying Neosporin and clean gauze and pet tape to keep it from licking it and irritating it!.!.!. it seems to be doing alot better and has not had any infection!. it is basically where you can see the muscle but there is a thin layer of tissue between the muscle and the air!. Should i keep changing the bandages every 12 hours or so like i have been doing or would it be better to change it less often like every 24 hours!.!.!.

It appears to be doing alot better since we found her 2 days ago!.
She is healthy and playful other than that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Good job, although hydrogen peroxide would have been gentler for the cleaning of the wound!. Yes, just change the bandage twice a day now, then just once when when more flesh grows, and continue with the Neosporin!.

"Rehome" is a beautiful word!. Thanks for helping a helpless animal!. You're a wonderful person!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would do whatever the vet advised you to do as far as caring for the wound without sutures!.!. I don't think you need to clean it with alcohol each time!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sound to me that you are doing what anyone else could do just keep up the care and im sure she will be back to normal in no timeWww@Answer-Health@Com
