Pruny Fingers?!
Question: Pruny Fingers!?
Ok, so you know when you're in the tub for too long that your fingers start to prune!? Well, what happens if you stay in there for a REALLY long time!? Is it bad for the skin to be soaked in water for too long!? And if so, how long is too long!?
P!.S!. If anyone knows WHY fingers prune up after being in water for too long, let me know!.!.!. I'm dying to figure that one out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's because of osmosis, yes too much water can make your skin slough off (as was already mentioned) but once an osmotic balance has been reached with the outside water, you fingers won't get 'prunier'!. (It's self limiting)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Hi,
just got out of a nice, long, hot shower, and i'm a bit pruny myself at the moment!.
eventually it's not the greatest thing to be all waterlogged, and the skin can start to slough off, or at least become so tender that it can easily slough off!. not sure how long that takes, my cuticles have done that after a few hours at the beach!.
am waiting for someone to provide the answer as to why!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
