Itchiness (way) deep inside my ears where the tube meets the back of my throat?!

Question: Itchiness (way) deep inside my ears where the tube meets the back of my throat!?
I don't believe it is exzema or a foreign object!. There is no dry skin, only a maddening itch that cannot be scratched unless I want to burst my eardrum (obviously I don't)!. There is no pain, only itchiness!. I am taking 10mg of Zyrtec nightly and last night I even took some Benadryl and Unisom with it because it was driving me to the brink of insanity!.It seems to be worse at night!. What is going on here!?! Oh, and I put a tiny bit of olive oil in each ear and then cleaned the excess off the outside of the ear which releaved it a little!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I suggest going to see an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist to find out why the antihistamines aren't helping much!. There might be something additional going on, like a fungal infection or inflammation of the eustachian tubes!.!.!.or a variety of other things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been getting this since I was a child!. It is because of allergies!. I do this thing where I close my mouth tight and suck in very hard and it scratches my throat and tubes somehow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my boyfriend said he had this before, he had defective adenoids and they kept getting infected!. it got so bad once where he couldn't breathe!. had to get them taken out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

See a doctor!. It could be an ear infection or something beyond my knowledge!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

That happens to me sometimes!. I don't know why!. Probably some kind of allergy thing, I'd guess!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
