Question: Should I get a second mri done!? *10 POINTS BEST ANSWER*!?
I am having troubles with my shoulder (im only 13) and i have gotten a mri done (don't worry, ive seen doctors and doctors)!. im doing pt but it hasnt helped, and i havent gotten the results of the mri back yet, i did it about almost 2 weeks ago!. i have another one scheduled at cheo (the other was at a clinic) this thursday!. should i go (it is covered by ohip so it doesnt cost me a cent) or should i cancer!?

i would go, when i injured my knee i had to have 4 MRIs and saw several doctors before i got an answer about waht was wrong with my knee!.!.!.

Please wait for the results of the first one!. Wait it out, trust me it takes time to read and write a good report, I think you know that you are not the only patient in line to get results!. What you should do is call your doctor and ask him if he needs a second opinion or an other test!. The good thing about MRI is that you can see slice by slice of the section in question, so one will be sufficient (because of the detail)!. Please talk to your parents because you are underage and have them call the doctor for you!. Stay safe and be healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
First call the doctor to see what your MRI showed!. Once in a great while the doctors don't get the reports sent to them!. If it is ok and you are still having problems and this is a different area the MRI will be looking at then, yes I would get it done!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
if you feel the need or your quesiton isn't anwsered by the first and if its free might as well although if you ever have to pay health insurance it will cost you!. nothing is free and the more people who think that way make stuff more expensive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
