The salt that you don't need is table salt or sodium chloride!. Most of us are overloaded with this particular salt as it is commonly added to lots of processed foods for flavour!.

A sodium deficiency is virtually unheard of!.

The salts that you may perhaps need are potassium salts, calcium salts, magnesium salts and others!. The generic term salt includes lots of salts other than table salt which is sodium chloride!.

As I am a Landscaper and do Irrigation on those days when as soon as you get out there and get started the sweat starts to pour out!.Sometimes I sweat so bad that I start to get cramps!.I keep a box of Morton salt in my truck,I add about 1 table spoon to large soda cup that you get in mini marts when you buy a soda!.This formula works for me but as we know what works on one may not be for the other!.The Power and Gator Aid drinks will help but if you fell you need more,then give this a try!.I have learned that as soon as I get that first cramp feeling I go and get this mixture and in just a few minutes all is well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't really need to replace the salt you sweat!. It far more important to re-hydrate!. Salt absorbs the water in your system!. You have already lost a lot of water through sweating!. Your system will only lose more with salt intake!. That's why you cannot drink sea water when you're lost at sea!.!.!.you'll die from dehydration!.
