Answers:
it is very possible that she could potentially have a concussion
behind the ear is one of the most dangerous to receive blunt trauma because it contains the least amount of cerebral fluid protecting it between the brain and the skull
my advice to you is to keep a very good eye on her
wake her up twice during the night to just make sure that she is still doing ok, a simple how are feeling will suffice
and just monitor her for the next couple of days, if she complains about feeling groggy or isnt her normal self and begins having flu-like symptoms, then you should bring her to the doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com

The doctor's usually give good advice!. Our skulls are well armored, and the speeds involved on swings aren't usually that large!. Unless she shows signs of difficulty she's going to be OK!.

Concussion watch rules apply, every so often make sure: she's lucid and can talk normally
She can hear, understand, and reply to questions
she can stand, balance, and walk
she can use both hands normally
check her eyes for unequal pupil dilation

You're going to worry anyway, might as well keep your worrying focussed and ensure that she's fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

look at her eyes, are they dialated!?
it sounds like she is probably fine, and like your dr said keep an eye on her!.
if she was to get a concussion she would probably be very tired and off right away!.
if you are very very worried, wake her up every few hrs and make sure she wakes up!.
that is the only thing that i do with my kids when i am worried they have one!.
as long as they wake up through the night when you wake them they are fine!.
good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

You should take her to the doctor to check if she has a concussion!. If she does they will schedule the appointment later!. I'm 11 but it happened to me!. If you are scared to don't be!. It all goes down to you saying yes!. Do whatever is comfortable with you!. They should take an X-Ray first to see if the skull or brain is injured!. So if she is 1to 3 yrs old take her to the doctor!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know how old your daughter is, but if she isn't complaining about it, headache, or acting strange!.!.!. i wouldn't worry too much!. A concussion usually happens to the front or the back of the head!. If you are still worried, you should read up on Concussions:

If she feels dizzy or nausea she might have suffered a slight concussion!. In that case watch her carefully if she says she feels fine, she'll be okay as long as she doesn't feel really sickly or she doesn't have any problems with black outs there's probably not a big problem!. I'm sure she'll be okay if she didn't hit anything really solid!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just keep an eye on her, if she lets you, apply ice, check on her every 2 hours when she sleeps!. Nudge her so she responds to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should take her to the doctor just to make sure, but I wouldn't really worry about it that much!. Just keep and eye on her like your doctor said!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
