Is Being Cold A Type Of Pain?!
Question: Is Being Cold A Type Of Pain!?
Answers:
Pain is a perception you have when the nerves are stimulated to a high degree!. If you have ever had liquid nitrogen on your skin the burning pain of the cold, is a true pain stimualtion!. A being cold, as in sitting in a room that is uncomfortably cold would not qualify as a pain stimulus in most people, but for people with certain physical conditions the same level of cold can produce a pain sensation!.
To test this, try placing a couple of large bags of ice in an ice chest and fill it with water!. Seal the chest and come back in a couple of hours!. Then place your foot and leg into the water!. If you hold it in long enough the feeling of pain will eventually subside, by the first sensation is usually one of pain, similar to sticking needles into your foot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
