Question: Her foot is to swollen!?
I just got a call from my friend saying her ankle was smashed but she might think its too swollen for the doctors to do anything what can they do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It maybe too swollen for clean xrays (CatScan make be better and clearer), but doctors can and should look at it and make recommendations!. They will ice, wrap it and make her more comfortable, but she needs to be looked at!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
She should definitely go see a doctor!. I don't know what "smashed" means!. But if she thinks it might be broken, she should get an xray done!. (Even if it's not broken, lots of swelling is a cause for concern and should get it checked out)
It won't be too swollen to get x-rayed!. X-rays take pictures of the bone, they can travel through soft tissue like fat, muscle, ligaments etc!. Even if it's very swollen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
