Sharp pain under left breast?!
Question: Sharp pain under left breast!?
I am 23 years old, and pretty active!. I was mowing a family member's yard 2 days ago, and struggling up steep hills with a ridiculously heavy mower!. Everything was going fine, until I was pushing up a particularly steep hill!. I got a VERY sharp pain under my left breast every time I tried to take a deep breath!. I sat down for 10 minutes or so, and the pain didn't stop!. It was pretty intense, and took about 2 hours to really stop so I could breath normally!. The area the pain came from is still very tender, but there are no lumps or bumps!.
What could have caused the pain!? Is this something I should have checked out!? How long should it take to stop hurting!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definately a pulled muscle!. At the time, you probably had a muscle cramp from all the hard work you were doing that you probably aren't used to doing on a regular basis!. The area is still tender because muscle cramps that are major cramps will leave the muscle sore for several days or longer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well I would say trapped air bubbles!.!.but it sounds like you did some strenous yard work there!. you most likely pulled a muscle, even worse you could have cracked a rib!.!.!.my mom cracked a rib while sneezing and she did not realize it till days later!.!.!.I think it is a pulled muscle!.!.!.you should still get it checked out though!. best of luck!.!.!.get rest and try not to move around to much to let it heal until you see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
