Bad pain in chest and arm?!

Question: Bad pain in chest and arm!?
I am 14 and last night I had an incredibly painful chest (the pain was only on the left side, where my heart is) and also a pain running down my left arm!. I had been doing a lot of exercise at school (a lot more than I am used to) because it was sports day!. I also felt dizzy a lot while doing the sports!. The pain I had seems to be gone now, but I am concerned about what it was and how I got it!. It might also be worth mentioning that I had a small glass of water in the morning before the sports!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to tell your parents & you should be seen by your local GP who will listen to your heart!.!.!.!.!.!.if this happens again - you should go straight to the hospital!.!.!.don't take chances!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you ever been checked for a heart murmur or any sort of heart problems!? The symptoms you just described to me are somewhat indicative of a heart attack, but unless you have severe genetic heart disease or are leading an extremely unhealthy lifestyle, that doesn't seem reasonable for a 14 year old!. Either way, any type of Angina is not normal at your age, so I suggest you go see a doctor about it!.

Here are a few websites for you do to a little research!.

Too young for a heart attack but I experienced this pain a good few years ago - it was actually trapped wind (!) which left me dizzy and feeling awful!.

T!.W!. is incredibly painful, all your internal organs get squished by the air inside you!. The only way to release it (apart from the obvious!) is to drink warm water, slowly, and to gently massage your abdomen!.

If this doesn't work or the pain is still there after a few hours, off to the Doc's just to be certain although I wouldn't be overly concerned!.

All the best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you have probably just over exerted your self ,but as you had a pain down your left arm, I would make an appointment to see your doctor (better to be safe than sorry) , and given the all clear you will feel happier when you exercise again !. you are never to young to suffer a heart attack and the all clear will also ease your mind on this !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No one is to young for a heart attack!. But it sounds like you probably have a pulled muscle!. I would express my concerns with my parents!. Pulled muscles can be really painful!. How are you feeling now!? It might pay to go see your Doctor just to cover every possibility!. You might want to try a heating pad!. Don't go to sleep with it on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am strongly advising you to tell your parents immediately!. This could be serious, and deserves attention!. There is no such thing as "trapped air" causing dizziness!. You could have something called unstable angina, and it knows no age!. Tell your parents, let them take you to the doctor to be checked ASAP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to get random sharp chest pain too, sometimes I can't even take a deep breath and I have to kinda stay still for a little while till it goes away, and then everything is back to normal, maybe you have the same thing!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
