Question: Attention Nurses! Nursing diagnosis and goals!.!.!.!.!?
I am a nursing student working on a labor and delivery assignment!. I'm trying to come up with a nursing diagnosis and goal for a baby with light meconium staning with some aspiration!. Also I need a goal for a mother!. Mom's nursing diagnosis is 'at risk for knowledge deficit related to first child birth!.' Any ideas!? (btw, I'm allowed to get help from other sources so your not assisting a cheater :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Short term goal for baby could be-Infant will demomstrate o2 saturation of 98 - 100% during first 24 hrs!. after birth!. The mom could be -- Mother will show increased knowledge for proper diaper change as evidenced by return demonstration of such!. Of course you will have to modify after your first short term goal time frame and so forth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
