Pain in lower back, butt and runs down right leg. Sciatic nerve?!

Around a year ago, i noticed that I sometimes felt this almost tingling pain that runs from my butt down my leg, but it wasnt horrible so I didnt pay much attention to it!. Now today, I may have pulled my back picking up a large stack of files, because shortly after, the right side of my lower back started to hurt!. Almost a sharp throbbing pain depending on how I moved!.

I have this pain that runs from the right side of my lower back / rop of butt,down my butt and runs down my right leg and stops around my knee!. I laid down to rest after work and woke up feeling worse!. I couldnt bend up to get out of bed!. I had to almost roll out!. The only position where it doesnt hurt is on my hands and knees!. (I'm typing this from the floor)!.

I googled the pain and sciatica was a common term!. Has anyone experienced this!? I go to a doctor and chiropractor and was wondering who would be the best to diagnose my problem!.

I've read this happens to pregnant woman, and I am not!.
