Answers:
The answer to this question is YES!. This is because tylenol and advil (an NSAID called Ibuprofin) treat pain in two different way and therefore do not interact with each other!.

wikipedia - Paracetamol (Tylenol) is also useful in the management of more severe pain, where it allows lower dosages of additional non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to be used, thereby minimizing overall side-effects!. -

So yes you can use them together!. Just don't take a high dose of either drug, or you could have side effects!. High doses of advil could irritate your stomach and high doses of tylenol is toxic to your liver!. Therefore you are FAR FAR better off taking a low dose of both advil and tylonel, rather then taking a dose of either that exceeds the product labeling!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The time it takes for a painkiller to do its work depends on a few things, such as the amount taken, the relative strength of the painkiller!.!.!.and your own metabolism!. You took Tylenol, which you most likely washed down with water, and it has to be digested in your stomach and then passed through to your bloodstream, where it will make its way to your brain and to the other inflamed and injured areas in an attempt to reduce the pain impulses being sent!.

If it's been a half an hour, then I would say that taking **1 more** Tylenol wouldn't be risking too much - but keep in mind, that this will still take time for it to work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. Both are metabolized by your liver!. Wait 4 hours to be safe!. If you took a low dose of Tylenol (350mg) then you probably can get away with a low dose of ibuprofen (200 mg) now, but not if you have liver disease (like hepatitis, or cirhosis)!. In this case, better safe than sorry!. If your liver is compromised, if you drank alcohol and you overload it, then your liver can shut down and you might be looking at liver transplant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the only way you can take it is if it doesn't have the same ingredients in it, Tylenol is 100% antecetametaphinine, so you cant take another product w this ingredient, however you can take another Tylenol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Careful with any pain killer!. Sometimes the cure is worse than the pain!. Those drugs are really hard on the stomach and liver for just one negative response!.

Call your doctor's office and speak to someone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes, but nothing else!. they're two different drugs!. don't take more than the recommended dosage for either though!. Don't take any more tylenol if you've taken 2!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a guy from work said you could inter change them every two hours but i dont know advils ibuprofin ty!. is that acetaminpphinWww@Answer-Health@Com

i would ask your doctor, just to play it safe!Www@Answer-Health@Com
