Question: Can blunt force trauma cause long-term damage to vagina!?
My girlfriend was hit in the crotch by a softball over the weekend!. We were playing a pick up game at school and she wasn't paying attention and was hit by a line drive!. She was only wearing sweats, so she had no protection!. She was in bad pain for a while but by evening everything seemed fine accept for some swelling to the vulva and clitoris!. But now she is saying she still feels numb there and also describes a "tingle" sensation!. She is really embarrassed and doesn't want to go to a doctor, but I am worried because I have read that a hit there may chip a bone or cause other problems!. I bet she'll be alright!. That part of the pelvis is very strong, so i doubt any damage was done there!. As for the tingling, give it a few days, it's very sensitive down there anyway, so don't worry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
