There is too many blanks to give you a good answer such as:

Gender, age, over-weight, etc!.

i would see a chiropractor D!.C!. or a Osteopath D!.O!. Not a M!.D!. aka Allopath!.

if your sternum is off base if there is nothing pushing it up from inside (tumor, enlarged gland, etc!.) Massage to the region front and back may be indicated!.

Bones generally in themselves don't rise etc!. but only by the muscles!.

One muscle or muscle group may be tighter and therefore pulling on the bone which would cause pain!.

After seeing a D!.C!. Or a D!.O!. or both they may prescribe treatment of Massage Therapy of which i would recommend!.

I would also eat a regiment of greens etc as well as bananas for potassium!.

Since it has been a year and no healing i make a appointment soon with the D!.O!. and or D!.C ASAP!.

Have them and or the Massage Therapist teach you how to massage the local area as well as other areas as well to get full relaxation!.

I hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Silicone implants are always the answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if i were you i would go back to the doctor but in the mean time i would just suggest pulling you shoulders back to stretch or whatever feels best for you!.!. feel better:)
