Scoliosis help??!
Question: Scoliosis help!?!?
i went to the hospital yesturday for back pains, they did an xray and told me that there is a curve in my spine!. i ran my hand through it and i can feel the curve!. im really scared and i dont know what to do!. i am 19 yrs old and i have no insurance!. i was wondering if it could be caused from me working in a resturant for 8 months carring heavy treys and my right leg is slighty longer than the left one, i JUST noticed !. im not sure if its caused by scoliosis or the it causes scoliosis!. im very worried and i need help!. any sugessions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you can, get a referral to a scoliosis specialist who will examine your back!. The specialist should be able to tell you whether you have functional scoliosis (an effect of something else, like uneven legs) or structural scoliosis (idiopathic, or unknown cause, is the most common type), and how many degrees that your curve measures!.
If it is functional, you may get a heel insert and perhaps a back support, but I'll defer to your specialist!. If you do see him, please let me know what he said!.
