I'm a track runner for my schools team, and I have a problem with my leg? He!

Question: About 2 weeks ago, I noticed that my left leg by the calf muscles, but the bone on the right side of the calf was very painful when I would run at practice everyday. Now, when I'm just walking I experience pain in that area. My mom said we don't have money to go to the doctor or emergency room. Yes, we have health insurance but my mother is a single parent and she is having trouble with the bills lately, and she said the money she would use to pay for the doctor/emergency room visit, she needs to use for gas in the car this week. (We live in New York, it's VERY expensive.)
My track coach told us that even if we have a sprained/fractured bone, we STILL need to run. She is extremely strict, and sometimes doesn't let us sit out even if we have a doctor's note, it depends on her mood, but not usually.
I'm scared abbout going to track on Monday. How can I persuade my mom to take me to the doctor? I need tips on EVERYTHING I mentioned on here.
Thank you to everyone for all of the help!

It could be shin splints. Does your team have an athletic trainer? If they do, talk to him or her. They can help youand speak with your coach. As for going to the doctor, contact your local county assistance office and they can help you with medical treatment (Medicaid, low cost insurance). Your health insurance should cover, but sometimes it doesn't. I know mine doesn't cover everything and I still end up owing. If you can't go to the doctor, just go to walmart or somewhere and get yourself a brace for it. As for your coach, it sounds like she doesn't understand that you can actually make an injury worse by running on it. Maybe if you see your school nurse, she can look at your leg and write you a note if you explain your situation. Hope this helps. Good Luck and hope your track season goes well.

maybe, it happened that you got a muscle spasm or got a sprain on the bone. or maybe you overused that leg. you should get a sling for your leg from your doctor.
